Please review the following User Agreement carefully before using the Sport Ireland site. You should also read our Privacy Policy. Sport Ireland strongly recommends that you consult with your physician before beginning any exercise program. You should be in good physical condition and be able to participate in the exercise. Sport Ireland is not a licensed medical care provider and represents that it has no expertise in diagnosing, examining, or treating medical conditions of any kind, or in determining the effect of any specific exercise on a medical condition.
You should understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in this exercise or exercise program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Sport Ireland from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of Sport Ireland’s negligence.

Simple Rules and regulation to Sport Ireland

  1. Hygiene (Regulation from Public Health services)
    • Clean the equipment after use
    • Must have adequate personal hygiene in respect of other users preventing transmission of infections.
  2. Appropriate footwear & clothing must be worn and towels must be used at all times whilst in the gym.
  3. Memberships are not refundable or transferable
  4. All weights and equipment must be treated with respect and put back after use. Do not slam, drop or throw any equipment on the floor and always leave the equipment the same way you found it or better after use.
  5. Each member must respect others and behave in an appropriate manner. No swearing or shouting & You must be courteous to staff and other members while you work out
  6. The use of mobile phones is not permitted during sessions / training unless approved by coach
  7. You must check in with the coach before each sessions and when leaving.

Screening Form
In order to comply with regulations, and with your health and safety as our prior it, you are required to complete the questionnaire. The information supplied will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be disclosed to a third party without your prior consent.
You are not obliged to disclose a disability, however, for health and safety reasons, should you choose not to do so, it is requested that you supply a doctor’s letter to confirm your suitability for this course and will not be held responsible for the worsening of an undisclosed existing condition.
Sports Ireland Staff reserves the right to rescind the rights of members not complying with the terms and conditions of the membership.

Teenagers from 13 to 15 must to be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult. Opening hours for this age group are 4pm to 6pm Monday to Friday and 12 Noon to 2pm at weekends and bank holidays. Classes are also available. When filling the membership form please name 2 adults allowed to supervise your child.

The Race Director has the authority, at any time, to overrule any rule or invent a new rule based on extenuating, unforeseen, and/or unusual circumstances and/or to maintain the integrity and fair play necessary for the successful completion, and continuation, of the race. The Race Director has ultimate authority in regards to all rules, their interpretation, and their enforcement. There is neither “appeals committee” nor an “appeals process.” All entrants in the race, and their support crews, willingly acknowledge this fact, as well as all other race rules, by attending the race in any capacity.
If the event is accredited by a recognised Irish Sport Council Governing Body the event will follow the rules and regulations of the Athletic Association of Ireland, Triathlon Ireland and Swim Ireland which we are proudly affiliated to for some events and of course the relevant international bodies with which they are affiliated such as AIMS, IAU, ITU, FINA.
These are the ONLY Associations we recognize.

Sports Ireland operates a NO REFUND policy regardless of your reason for seeking one.
For Events
We can offer to defer your entry up to two years or swap your entry with another participants up to two weeks before the event but this is at the discretion of the race organiser who should be contacted directly. If you are looking a reason why we can’t refund an event entry, it is simply because It cost us money to prepare an event buy the water, race numbers, equipment, timing, rent lanes etc…. well before the event happen and we can’t rely on participants personal circumstances to run the event unfortunately.
For Members
We can offer to give freeze your membership for an agreed period or give it to a new member. If you are looking a reason why we can’t refund your membership, it is simply because It cost us money to manage each membership, pay our employees and bills. We unfortunately can’t rely on participants personal circumstances to run a business.

By requesting a free day pass you will be entitled to a tour of the club and introduction to the equipment and facilities and you will have access to our equipment to try out a selection of workouts to see what suits you.

  1. Subject to Sports Ireland terms and conditions of entry (available in club).
  2. Valid for first time visitors aged 14 years and above only. Photo ID required
  3. An appointment must be made in advance for the first visit which must be accompanied by a Sports Ireland Consultant.
  4. Trial pass is for one-time use only and cannot be accumulated. Must be used within 30 days.
  5. Not valid with any other offer. Other terms and conditions may apply.
